Summary

TW: This episode may be triggering to those with sensitivities surrounding disordered eating

I'm joined by health and wellness creator, Jordanna Drazin AKA The Daily Schvitz! We hear how Jordanna met her long-term boyfriend on Birthright while she was dating someone else. We hear how they ended up reconnecting once she was single, and how she wasn't sure if their first date was actually a date or a catch-up as just friends. We discuss changing in your twenties, maintaining independence in relationships, dating in eating disorder recovery, and so much more.

Hey guys, it's Alana and welcome back to another episode of Seeing Other People.

0:10.1

Together, we're navigating modern dating alongside experts and real-life daters who are sharing

0:14.9

their stories. Don't have a date for tonight? No problem. Come learn, laugh, and maybe even

0:20.3

cry along with us as we navigate the dating scene together. I am so excited, you guys. We are here with V-1 and only Jordana Schvitz. Yay. Oh my gosh. People actually think that's my last name. Like, it's not even funny. I have to do a whole defining what Schwarz is for the people who don't know. Yes. So, okay, Jordana Schvitz, not your name.

0:38.0

What's bust that myth right here now. Jordana Drazen. Yes. Welcome to seeing other people. Thank you so much. I'm so happy to be here. I'm so excited to be here. I feel like you're someone who I, we instantly connected when we first met, which was like in the beginning of this year, I think. Yeah. Yeah. And I, first of all,

0:56.0

your content's amazing. You have to follow Jordana at the Daily Schwarz. You are a lifestyle creator,

1:01.1

but you also talk about so much more than that. And it's not just like, here's aesthetically looking

1:05.6

things while they are all aesthetically pleasing. I'm so honored. Do you think so? Oh my God,

1:09.9

beyond. You're also very open about

1:12.2

your personal life and certain struggles you've had in the past and just who you are. And I really

1:18.0

applaud you for that because I know it's really scary to do. Thank you. But I just love literally like

1:22.8

everything you post. Thank you so much. It really means so much to me. I really appreciate it.

1:26.8

So what is the daily

1:28.6

Schwarz about? Okay. So it's about a multitude of things. And I really, I try not to pigeonhole myself

1:34.7

because I was pigeonholed for so long into one specific type of content. But basically back when I

1:40.1

started the Daily Schwarz, I started it while I was interning at Equinox because I feel like

1:46.0

some internship programs are really intense and have like a great program. And some are kind of just like,

1:51.3

oh, la-di-da, we decided to hire interns, but we have nothing for them to do. Yeah. Which is exactly

1:55.3

what mine was. So I was pretty much just sitting in the office every day, trying to come up with busy work for something that looked like it could be related to Equinox.

2:05.2

Like if someone were to pass me by, like, oh, it looks like she's doing something related to working out, the gym.

2:09.7

I don't know.
