Hey everybody, this is James Lindsay and you're listening to the new discourses podcast

and we're going to do something experimental today.

This is really off the beaten track, I think I'm going to get made fun of for this.

So I'll just say that at the beginning and get it over with.

This is actually what I want to kind of give you is like a 30, 40, 50,000 foot overview

about fighting the woke.

And I think that this is actually strategically informative.

I think it helps me think about what our goals have to be from a kind of big picture strategy

perspective, but I'm going to just admit that I'm about to be a bit of a weeb on this

to give you this information.

Actually, I've thought about this for over a year, maybe almost a year and a half and

some people have had to suffer through hearing me talk about it, but I haven't had the nerve

to make a podcast about it even though I think it's really insightful because you're about

to hear why it's kind of embarrassing.

So I was trying to figure out a way to just kind of like hide the fact of what this is

actually about because I don't want it to be too weeby.

If you don't know what weeb is, w-e-e-b, you should look it up, it's kind of funny.

But and it's not exactly weeb because weeb is a Japanese fan thing and this is Chinese,

but it's dorky.

So I was going to try to figure out how to hide the ball and present this set of ideas

without saying what it is.

But I actually think it's more interesting and clearer if I do say what it is.
