So I've been on this poetry kick for like an entire 10 days.

And we talked about a particular poem yesterday and I wanted to get into the dissecting it,

reading a little of the dissection of this poem by a smarty pants, because I think you'll find

this pretty entertaining.

Okay.

So I'll read the poem again, because it's very short.

It's one of the most famous poems in the history of the English language.

I'll be damned.

It was written in the 1920s, I think, but I just had Googled, because like I said, I'm into poetry right now, just Googled famous poems.

And this is the most famous poem of the last, I think, 25 years it's been in more poetry anthologies than any other in the last quarter century.

And it's all about the pauses, right?

Their entire college class has written about the red wheelbarrow.

This is a very short poem.

A red wheelbarrow glazed with rain water

beside the white chickens.

That's the whole thing.
