Being an entrepreneur sounds cool, but the reality of building a business is very, very difficult.

Every level that you hit, there's a lot of things that suck that you just won't want to do.

What you're capable of is on the other side I don't feel like it.

And if you're committed to what it is that you're trying to do, nothing is going to stop you from getting there.

Welcome back to another episode of real business owners with myself, Trevor Cowley.

Today I have a friend and an amazing guest, Scott Carlson, on the podcast.

He's an individual that's a part of the real business owners inner circle as well as the owner of

Utah Safe Company.

And I just learned more information that's even cooler about Scott and his business just

just prior to hopping on.

Usually I'll chop it up with somebody for five or ten minutes before we get on the show.

And, you know, so you ever been on a podcast before?

He said, well, yeah, mental health one, which is, you know, obviously seems kind of like a curve,

like mental health, safes.

Yeah.

To me, those two things don't necessarily go together, right?

Yeah.

And so when you started explaining a little bit

about what it is that you do in terms of the mental health suicide kind of prevention, really,

is what it is. Exactly. I mean, we can label it as mental health because that's what it is,

but mental health issues obviously at times turn into, I need to take my own life. I don't see, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't see a future here for me anymore, right? Just when you're in a low spot. So if you will, kind of, is, is that what broke you into the end? Like, let's unwrap this. Damn, the fun, unwrap the gift that is Scott and the Utah Safe Company. Oh, I appreciate it. No, I've loved being on here. It's an honor to be out here with you because, yeah, I've been in the inner circle for a couple years now. Well, dude, I've been meeting the NASA a couple, multiple times. And then, like, when I saw you on the track, I'm like, this is my chance.

I'm going to say, bro, let's get you on the podcast. What the hell is going on? Nothing good to say before that. I always laugh. I'm like, man, I feel like the past, like, five or six years have just been full failures. And like good failures because they've led me to where I'm out. Felt forward. You were failing forward, but failing nonetheless still feels like failing, right?
