So we're back in Colossians today.

What a treasure chest this is.

And what I want to emphasize to you is get your Bible and start to mark it up.

You know what's interesting about marking the Bible is when I go through anything, I can go

to the Word of God and I have a memory of conversations with God.

It's like going to the woods for a journey and there's a trail.

And on this trail the Lord spoke to me here in Daniel about how he went to his house

and informed his friends about the dangerous situation they were in so that they might request

compassion from the God of heaven concerning the mystery of the king's dream

that they would not be destroyed and that that night it was revealed to

Daniel in a night vision oh the Old Testament has a house church

with Pentecostal visions that affect political policy at the throne

of ultimate presidents, kings, and prime ministers.

Wow.

That's right there in the Bible, which amuses me when people say, well, Christian, you shouldn't get involved in politics.

I guess the buck of Daniel, tear that chapter out. But I can open the Bible anywhere, and it pulls me right into the conversations I've had with God.

And where David says, where the Lord says, I will give Jeremiah, where Jeremiah is told that God is upset with his inheritance

and he's going to give their wealth and their treasures and your high places away.

And your inheritance, I'm going to give away and bring you into servitude to your enemies

because you've turned your back on me.

Jeremiah explaining how Nebuchadnezzar ended up taking Israel and Jerusalem and Judah down.

It wasn't because he was a stronger military force.
