podcast for literally all of television I'm your host a Iran and I'm Jim and today we are

doing we're actually going to step aside from our mission of covering all of television

and shrink down to a

singular point that does range pretty wide we've seen the rest of Calpins this

giant beast that is the global economy, the new Amazon Prime original documentary.

It's an eight part series trying to get our hands around essentially the global economy and

how things, corruption in Singapore affects markets in the United States and vice versa.

I've really you know we talked yes last week about the first two episodes and this week where these topics range from the threat of rubber to artificial intelligence to questioning the monetary system

itself what did you think of this back half or I guess back three quarters of the

series Jim? I'm not sure how I feel about this series I wish I guess that it could I guess I wish that it was an hour a full hour long

documentary series because I never felt like I quite got the depth and maybe it was because they were going for

too many jokes too many

interludes to some like leading in too much to the greater conversation with like trying to make

all these rubber inroads or this inroad with something else.

I never quite left an episode completely satisfied

with what I had seen.

And I don't think that makes it bad necessarily.

It's, but I'm just not sure how I feel I always came away dissatisfied

even though this is sort of right up my alley do you think oh so first of all I want to ask you, what do you mean by full hour episodes?

These episodes weren't an hour long?

I assume they were.
