There is a court hearing going on right now regarding the settlement between the city of Houston

Government and the Houston firefighters.

It's not the fire department because the department is the actual operations of the department.

It is the Firefighters Association.

I will for shorthand refer to them as a union they're not they're an association

but for all intents and purposes, it is the organization of the

employees. So whatever you want to call it, it doesn't matter. The police

officers will tell you that it's not a union because we have a union and they don't have a union.

The firefighters will tell you they bargain collectively for us. It's the same thing.

And I think by and large that's that's probably true.

Anyway this deal is being called a historic deal and it is it is massive no matter what I say I'm going to make a lot of people

angry on on either side of it because it's a complicated issue and people are going to react to my statement depending on where they are in the process.

Firefighters want to hear you say yes,

you can have however much money you deserve

because you guys have been beaten up by the city

going all the way back to Lee Brown who of course was a former police chief and that is true.

The Houston firefighters were the ugly, I wouldn't say ugly stepchild because

ugly stepchildren have it much better.

They were the abused, maligned, neglected.

You know, they're, I don't know, maybe it's my algorithm, or maybe this is just what people want, but do you notice

on how many of these streaming programs you now have these cases of these children who are, they're locked in a
