I am so, like, sentimental about, like, okay, Olivia's senior year, which she keeps reminding me,

I have plenty of time, I have plenty of time.

But so we've gotten all these college things, you know, that are coming in.

She's taking the ACTs, you know, in preparation for next year.

And when they're a junior or a sophomore and they're in or even like Charlotte as a freshman, if you have kids, you're always counting down. Like, it's okay. I've got three more years. I can still put a pool in. I can do this because they're still going to be hanging out in my house. I've got three more years. And then all of a sudden yesterday I got this email from Olivia, who was our 17-year-old juniors, high school, that said, it's time to schedule senior portraits. And it sent me into a tailspin. Did you cry? No, but you know I was telling you, I'm like, I like came out into the garage and I'm like, we're running out of time. We've got to get on these college tours.

I'm like, we've got to get on these college tours.

We're so behind.

We've, I've got to get going because, you know, COVID, here we go, blaming COVID again. But it did kind of shut down. like because last year I had started kind of taking her out on some like longer weekend you know like okay like, okay, we'll just go up and see, you know, whatever.

Clemson, yeah, or Auburn or whatever.

And we stopped doing it.

And now I feel like I'm so behind. And it's so overwhelming. But I don't think that it's just you. I don't think that it's just us. I think that any parents that have kids, the graduating class of 2022, also are up against the wall.

She keeps telling me, I've got plenty of time.

Don't we start doing that next year?

I'm like next summer, I said, Olivia, next summer, you're getting ready to go to college.

You're moving in somewhere.
