Great. I'm enjoying being here in Maraga.

It's really nice this week. It's been nice and warm and sunny.

It's beautiful.

Weather is lovely. Knitting outside on the porch is beautiful. Very mellow.

It is. It's very zen and appropriate.

We're actually up here in Lafayette taking Cat's talk classes.

There's a tow-up one in the morning and a top-down one in the afternoon.

I heard about it last week from a girlfriend and we signed right up.

Tomorrow, let's get right into the meat of it.

Let's talk about the books since we're here for the class.

New architectures.

My most recent book is New Pathways for Sock Knitters,

which I foolishly named Book One, meaning that there have to be more,

which I'm now working on.

Basically, Socks have been knit in one of two architectures

for about the past 700 years, which is approximately as old as we think knitting is,

although I suspect it may be thousands of years old.
