The clock will no longer stop on first downs in NCAA games

Except division three who decided that's not for us

So wow

So just the entire game not within the last two minutes correct the clock you will have a two minute warning each of the halves

The NCAA is approving today

It was proposed earlier this year the clock will run after first downs right that used to stop until the ready for play

Which by the way made college games four hours long. Yeah, the approval will come from the playing rules oversight panel prop

That annually that's the rules and changes as proposed by the NCAA football rules committee

Stopping clock to first downs has been one of the rules that has differentiated college from the NFL since the 68 season

Allowing the clock to run will reduce the number of plays per game by an average of seven

Boy do I feel like it's going to save well above that

That's according to Steve Shaw the secretary editor of the rules committee not the rule that I would love for them to change books sure why not
