Hey everybody, it's your old pal Maddie Al.

It's been a minute, and you may have heard the recent announcement on the show, but I felt

it was important that you hear from me why I haven't been around.

Toward the end of last year, due to a series of business and personal trips, family obligations,

the holidays, and a nice little bout of illness thrown in trips, family obligations, the holidays,

and a nice little bit of illness thrown in there for good measure,

I couldn't record for several weeks in a row.

During that time off, I started to realize just how much of my personal time I was devoting

to the show every week, and it just felt like the right time to step away,

and as cliché as it it sounds focus on other things

I'm sorry I didn't record a final goodbye episode but after all this time it just felt weird to dip back in for a

full episode just to say I was leaving and having a show for me to get my flowers or whatever that

that just isn't my style.

So I hope you can understand that, and I hope that this serves as a sufficient farewell.

I'm really going to miss recording with Chris and T.L., but rest assured, I'll be around in the

background, and I hope you'll join me in supporting these guys moving forward.

I wanted to thank Michael and Chris for

giving me the opportunity to be part of the show. Thank you to TL for carrying the mantle moving forward.

Thank you to all of our guests for being so generous with their time. And thank you, the listeners,

for your support over these last eight years. Eight years!
