Okay, my friend, I think I found the perfect mantra.

If you're not one to want to come up with elaborate affirmations or mantras,

or maybe you kind of come up with them, then you forget the more you think of them and go,

I don't know if that one really clicks with me.

I found one that I repeat in the mirror as I'm getting ready,

putting on my moisturizer, doing my hair, rushing my teeth,

I say it out loud, I also say it silently, and I think that it encompasses everything.

Okay, four simple statements.

Easy to repeat.

This is inspired by Florence Scovel-Shin, whose work I have just been consuming and consuming and

consuming is a hundred years old. And I just love her. I love how she speaks and she, like me, loves to make everything simple, easy, accessible.

So my friend, this is an affirmation.

Try it on, see how it fits.

For me, it just clicks, because I think that sometimes we leave things out,

or we focus on one area of our life.

But how about this as an affirmation? Health, wealth, success, and perfect self-expression. Think about that. Health, oh let's not overlook it. Without

it, everything's a struggle. Wealth, we define that personally, but heck, yes, material,

wealth, let's have it all. Success, also something that we define, personally, what is it to you?

And then finally for me this has been a bit of a missing piece when it comes to the affirmations. Perfect self-expression.

What does that mean? You can be healthy and wealthy and successful, right on the outside, however that looks to you, to other people.

But perfect self-expression, it means that you're yourself.
