So Kevin, you know, we brought this up on our last show and I really thought it was by time we

dove a little deeper into the subject. So while we were

recording the Tropical Hideaway show I noted that the Society of Explorers and

Adventures kind of flies under the radar but it's a really intriguing thread that connects attractions and locations throughout Disney property.

So in all of my years of podcasting, I've never recorded a show about it but I know you love it.

Yeah so it's really weird that how it because I got into steam punk in a major way

about five years ago yes and I heard about the society of explorers and adventurers and I never really

understood what it was and then I started seeing like little hints of it

appearing everywhere and then I went to Tokyo where it actually originated.

It originated in Tokyo Disney Sea and that's where they started the crest,

the SEA crest and all, in the fortress thing, there's a fortress walk-through, and

fortress expeditions, I believe it's called, and that was where it originated.

But, you know, and then it started it went to Mystic Manor yeah and then it came to

Typhoon lagoon of all places right and all these other like little places uh... yeah you know the the american waterfront

the uh... Harrison high tower of terror yes uh... so all this stuff
