Ever since I was a small boy in Illinois, I've had a great

personal admiration for Abraham Lincoln. So when we decided to re-create some of the great moments

of Mr. Lincoln's life for the world's fair, we directed all our energies to that task.

We wanted to bring to the people of today the inspiring words of the man who held this nation

together during this moment of greatest crisis.

Welcome to the 3028 a show about theme park history

and pop culture history. I am Matt Parrish and I am Kevin Quigley. Kevin this is one of the most

exciting shows that we've ever done because it's fully listener benefit. Oh it's so listener benefit.

I'm like super excited we have this whole idea um you know we're like back things back

forth how do we benefit the listener directly how do we do this and how you know all the stuff

and uh and we came up with the idea weirdly enough around the exact same time. Yeah we've done

this before with listener benefit stuff as much as we can in a way that that also supports the

show like we did t-shirts right and we've done actually done that a couple of times we have done

live shows a couple of times and this is a brand new way but I think it surrounds itself

it's really steeped in what we do best on this show which is create new shows that are really really

fun and we want to do that for the listeners directly. Yeah yeah yeah we were thinking about you know

how best to do this how best to like create a show for like you know very specific users or

a specific user and and we sort of came up with this fun idea about how you know the listener

can support the show and then the listener itself could get the show by themselves either for one

person you know who wants it themselves or to give a gift as we're entering the holiday season some
