Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we invite you to turn your attention to the sky

at High above Sleeping Beauty Castle, where if you believe and wish hard enough, you too will see the magic of Tinkerbell as she lights this evening's performance of Fantasy in the sky.

1:28.5

Welcome to the 3028 show about theme park history and pop culture history. I'm Matt Parrish, and I'm Kevin Quigley.

1:47.5

And Kevin, we are living up to our season six in the mix mantra by bringing lots of different shows about lots of different subjects. I can't believe we did a yacht rock show already.

1:59.5

We've done a bunch of weird stuff and in Disney stuff, it's been great.

2:02.5

We did a show about Chicago and where we met for the first time. We did, yeah, we did yacht rock and then we did some, we've done a lot of Epcot this year, which is very interesting.

2:12.5

But it's a big year for Epcot. Now Disney may not recognize it in the same way we're going to, but the last show was a little bit of a sneak preview into what we have coming this summer, which does include that lost future world show and a number of other shows that we have planned that will sprinkle in throughout the summer, kind of like our resort series, our unofficial resort series last year.

2:38.5

Yeah, we've got a, we've got a whole summer series happening this year that we're both super, super psyched about, super amped about.

2:47.5

And it's all about everybody's favorite and most controversial theme park. And so we're very, very thrilled about that. But today, we're going to, we're going to touch on some Epcot.

2:58.5

But we are going to be talking about something that weirdly enough we haven't really ever talked about before.

3:04.5

We've talked about the fake version of this.

3:09.5

And I was trying to think like sometimes when we're playing in shows, just behind the scenes here, we're like, have we done a show on this?

3:17.5

And there was something that you brought up, you're like, we should do a show about lost lands or something that I was like, we did that show last year, last year, which is why it was a great idea both times.

3:30.5

But yeah, so I don't remember who brought this up or if it just came up organically, but we were like, we've never really talked about fireworks on this show.

3:39.5

We've talked about fake fireworks on 4th of July, which by the way was a super short show. It is like one of my favorite all-time shows.

3:46.5

It was such a good show. It came out of no, like you were like, pick a show topic. Do it. Let's figure something out. I was like, uh, uh, fake fireworks.

3:52.5

You're like, we're recording right now. Turn on your microphone. And we did. And there was a bunch of crazy stuff in there.

4:00.5

Now this show is kind of like that. And we wanted to talk about fireworks. And then we thought, well, let's talk about, there's so many fireworks shows.

4:09.5

Yeah. So we were like, there's so many theme parks and so many fireworks show. Let's sort of narrow this down. And so we were like, let's do day one fireworks. Well,

4:18.5

that became something else too. Yeah, we went in and both of us were like, yeah, day one fireworks. How exciting is that? We're going to talk about like thing first day of Disneyland, first day of Walt Disney World.

4:29.5

As it turns out, most fireworks shows didn't happen on day one. In fact, most of them didn't even happen year one.

4:36.5

Yeah, it's so funny if you watch the old like Disneyland present show or like Walt Disney presents or Disneyland TV show.
