Greetings and welcome to a Wednesday edition of the shotgun start. It is February 9th. Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan, I'm doing wonderful. This is all as well. I never thought that we'd get, you know, golf's Mr. P hands, but here we are.

This is a great piece by Daniel Rappport. I'm Morgan Hoffman, broke this morning, and we've got a moister salue of golf.

I mean, I think the hands would be sort of a more normalized practice than what Mr. Hoffman's got going on down in Costa Rica.

Yeah, you're right. It's a law and profile. You're right. It's sort of what everyone's talking about here.

You didn't expect Morgan Hoffman profile to really be the early leader for a piece of the year here in the first couple of months, but it's really good.

Yeah, I didn't know we were going this way. It was a vocative of like the stuff we read for a lot of the flashbacks that doesn't exist too much more in golf journalism.

There's John Garry going to Fiji, Jaime going to Spain to find out a lot of the ball or even just anything that's domestic doesn't have to be a trip abroad to the jungle or to Fiji or to Spain.

But actually a real piece with substance and like let you in a little secret like a lot of like journalism this day is now like set up because there's an agent that has the

relationship with the writer publication or there's a sponsor of that player also buys ads in the magazine or the outlet or the TV or the whatever, right?

A lot of that stuff there's always the access comes via one way or another and this was I think I hope pretty I don't know if Morgan Hoffman was trying to sell something here.

I don't think this was just sort of innocent story telling story for the sake of story and we don't get that kind of profile anymore.

So yeah, it was pretty good really good read very little do with golf very little do with golf.

Yeah, it's a great piece and grass on to Dan rap.

Put it together and breaking the mold getting out of the right and off press press quotes and you know personal personal anecdotes of of tales at a tour event like just wonderful wonderful.

Almost throw back piece yeah, let me just yeah, what I mean is most profiles.

There's an angle there's a reason why there's a profile and it's maybe not be obvious right at the start but yeah that's usually the way things work these days.
