We had no idea we'd entered the Masked Singer era.

We waltzed into 2019, so naive, thinking, oh, it's just another year. But in fact, we are

living in the world of the Mask Singer now, the Masked Singer extended universe. It felt like we

were entering a new era. Yeah. The Bird Mask, ASMR plague doctor thing that we watched and

discussed on the podcast a while ago. It's like it ruined the mask

singer for me. It came to life. It did. It came to life. And I just picture them singing in

ASMR voice. Well, people I know, like the billboards for the masked singer were amazing because

they were so. They look like a Vegas show. Yeah, or like a black mirror. They were just like,

reboot, but maybe they, I don't know what the aesthetic of the original show was. I would imagine it was

this because it's very memorable. I saw a clip where they were like, it was not just a mask. It's like they have like whole costumes. Yeah. It's like a whole, like there's a lion one I saw. It's a full body suit. Ken Zhang is like, I know that lion. Yeah, my friend Sarah Johnson was saying it's part of the eyes wide shut universe. Yes, for sure. Absolutely. It's

because they don't want you to like recognize people by their bodies either, I imagine. Oh,
