More than 3,300 events are planned for today in the smallest of towns and the biggest of cities, according to organizers.

and surprised the world not just because of the size of the turnouts, but because of where people

were participating. This was the scene back in June, in Jackson, Mississippi, a deep red state where an estimated

1,500 protesters braved the heat and a sudden rainstorm to gather for the first No King's Day

at the state capital.

She went viral last October for staging a one woman No King's protest at a street

corner in the town of Beckley, West Virginia, because the bigger No Kings protests that day were too
