available either. That's my therapist, Carol. We're on a Zoom call. She doesn't know

So that's quite lonely, isn't it? So that's quite a lonely journey as a child.

Pretty standard stuff you might think. But the reason Carol's asking me about my lonely adolescence

In 2018, the British government made a promise. We want to see an end to practices like

conversion therapy which is an abhorrent practice. But three years on, no such ban exists.

I'd walk back alone crying in the darkness. It was just a surge of desperation and devastation.
