Well hey there and welcome again to another episode of Thinking Sideways. I am Steve as usual

joined by Devan and Joe and once again we have a mystery for you. This week we're gonna talk about

the supposed suicide of Rebecca Zahau or at least primarily that's what we're gonna talk about. There's

some other things that are tied in the story that we'll cover. Before I forget though this story is

a listener suggestion so it was suggested by at least the people that I saw on the list which were

Diane, Rebecca and Andy. So he's usually about as long as we go on our list before we just stop.

It is so for all the rest of you sorry yeah. So I said that primarily we're gonna be talking about

Rebecca Zahau the reason that I said that is that we're also gonna be talking about the death of

six-year-old Max Shacknye so quick little ear warning this story is gonna it's gonna be dealing

with suicide the death of a six-year-old boy and there may be some other graphic conversation in there

so if you've got little ones around or if that content is not okay for you this is one

despos or skip for later. I would skip I wouldn't. Or turn the volume way up I don't know. Yeah no

well if it's key shout don't listen to it. Yeah. Alrighty here we go. Story takes place in 2011

between the 11th and 13th of July. At the time 32-year-old Rebecca Zahau was living with her

boyfriend Jonah Shacknye and they were living in his home which was the Spreckles mansion which

is in Coronado California. What's it apparently? It's an expensive area. It is yeah if people know

the area that will give you an income or an idea of his income and the value of his home but

for those of you who don't know Coronado is a high priced island just off of San Diego. Yeah
