A standard electric bass has four strings, that's too fewer than a guitar which has six strings and they're obviously a lot bigger

and they're tuned a lot lower so that you can play bass notes. You can get an electric bass with five strings or

seven strings. There's a guy named Charlie Hunter who plays bass and guitar on an 8 string guitar, but I don't know man.

Four seems like more than enough to me.

Lately I've been practicing a lot of guitar which has been really fun and it's been a little while since I kind of

really sat down with a guitar in practice there's a whole period there in the early

2000s where I spent a lot of years you know kind of getting my basic chops

together but then I didn't play for a little while and was kind of working on other things,

other instruments, and now I'm kind of back on the guitar and I'm really practicing it.

It's been really fun. And the thing that is wild to me is how much of a difference

YouTube makes.

There are whole channels of people who teach guitar lessons.

A lot of really good players just showing how they play stuff.
