peanuts aren't actually nuts. They're technically the seeds of a lagoon crop like chickpeas, soybeans,

and peas. Hence the name, peanuts. And they're not the only

impostors in the nut butter world. How many of you like cashew nut or almond nut butter? Yep,

you guessed it. Neither of those are nuts either. Both of these are the fruit seeds of their

respective plants, meaning they're technically droops, not nuts.
