The 33rd student. I just recently heard this story from a childhood friend I've known for about 20 years now.

This friend, let's call him A, worked as an English teacher at an all-girls high school.

He always used the photocopier at school to print sheets for class, but there were four classes to a single grade, so he had to print

quite a few to make sure everyone got one. Now, if he printed handouts for all four classes at

once, that would take not just a lot of time,

but present a variety of other problems as well.

So, he did them class by class when necessary, printing them only before that specific class.
