We are right out of All-Star Weekend.

And honestly, kind of a win, kind of a dub.

I'm also going to give you the things that I'm looking forward to the most for the second

half of the season. I got to address the elephant in the room. This is not the normal setup you're used to when it comes a small ball, man. Let me tell you how this went. I planned on getting off my plane Sunday, going home, drop my bags off and going straight to the enjoy basketball studio, the entire flight. I'm writing my notes for this episode. I'm so, so excited to give y'all an episode because I was just at All-Star weekend.

I had my ear to the ground. I was talking to players. I was talking to people. I wanted to bring that all to you. And I get to the studio, use my key card and the key card don't work. I forget what the name of the player is. The player that was on the Jets, Jamal, some, he was trying to scan in he couldn't scan in that's how i felt so we were this close to this episode not being the thing but shout out to cat on the back end shout out to jake the editor for making this happen so it will look a little bit weird this week my apologies we are uh green screen and things so uh next week we'll be back in and let's just hope we paid our bills man because why wouldn't that

because it was a pleasant surprise maybe not throwing through obviously you had your duds in there

but it was different you know there's a lot of skepticism coming into this all-star weekend for multiple reasons, right? The Dunk Contest has been pretty mediocre for about a decade. So shout to Mack McClunk. MacMachlan has been giving us heaters over the last couple seasons, but as a whole, the dunk contest had been pretty trash. And All-Star Weekend Sunday's festivities, which is the big game, had been bad for, I don't know how long, so bad that Adam Silver has changed up the way we're going to play the game every single season. And he might have cooked with this one? Let's start off with Saturday, because Lord knows, I could not care less about the celebrity all-star game. I didn't see one highlight from it. I saw a screenshot

of Shams on his phone during the game or something. I can tell you what happened in the Rise of

Stars game either. Not a single highlight crossed my timeline. But Saturday is when I decided to lock

in because I am a fan boy for the three-point shootout. You know, the NBA or professional sports

in general is something that I have so much

admiration for the cream of the crop, the best people that can do the specific things. But it's

something about jump shoot it for me that always gets me really excited, right? We get no Steph Curry

this year, but we do surprisingly get Damian Lillard to be in it after, you know,

Tarynx Achilles almost a year ago and not only was he in it

The man won and I'm just like I don't know they asked him what what does this look like like a book in your chat or a chapter in your book and he gave a very great answer because
