And today, going to talk a little bit of general NBA early on Tuesday. We got the surprising

news that Tom Tibido had been fired as the coach of the Knicks, leaving

just, I think, that and the Phoenix job as the open vacancies around the NBA, D. And you and I

had gotten to talking a little bit about it, about Windows. And there are a couple of other

situations around the NBA between Janus and KD that want to get into a little bit later,

that I think all of this indirectly impacts the Lakers D.

But talk to me, let's start out with Tibbs, man.

Was not expecting that news this morning.

I was going to ask you, how surprised were you that they made this move?

Pretty surprised.

I think they have gone about as far as you could expect them to in most years. Although I think that going into the conference finals, I thought the Knicks were clearly the fourth best team. I didn't think they were going to beat the Celtics. I didn't think they had much of a chance against them. And I think the combination of just some comebacks, some bad habits from the Celtics, and then, of course, the injury.

The Knicks are good, but I don't think they're that good. I think people thought they were closer to the Pacers than they actually were. So I don't know. I generally thought they got as far
