this tiny hole basically poked into where one would assume that he's injecting these substances.

We're at our most vulnerable during surgery to think that it's not safe and you're even more vulnerable than you imagined is scary.

On August 24th, officials at a North Dallas hospital say they became aware of IV bags that have been tainted

at their facility. Investigators now say the bags had been tampered with on purpose, causing one

death and a number of other cardiac emergencies. Investigators say multiple patients suffered medical

emergencies after what were supposed to be routine surgeries.

All the clients that we represent seem to have the exact same story.

They're young in good health, no underlying conditions, undergoing what were supposed to be

single day routine procedures here.

They found themselves being rushed to a major hospital because they had to be intubated

and ventilated because they suffered respiratory distress and cardiac arrest. Dr. Reinaldo Ortiz

now stands accused of tampering with the IV bags. An investigator at a recent hearing called him

a medical terrorist.

A newly unsealed complaint accuses Dr. Reinaldo Ortiz Jr., an anesthesiologist,

of purposely contaminating IV bags with a painkiller.

If you have somebody who tamper with the consumer product,

and that causes that reckless indifference to human life,

and then you have a death, it's up to life in prison.
