A disagreement is easier than listening and communicating properly. It's easier to beg you to change and threaten to leave when in reality.

I know if I attempted to go, you wouldn't even try stopping me. To experience something that you never had before, how could I ever expect you to know what it takes when it comes to loving me?

And I don't want to be hard out of time yet you haven't even realized that your love could actually soften me.

Being patient sometimes you know, that should get kind of hard for me, especially when I got to ask you twice.

But sometimes I'm blind to the fact that you're your own person too. I take it as you neglecting me when in reality you just made some time for you.

It takes a second to remind someone I appreciate you and even though you're not obligated to do anything, I value the fact that you always come through, showing up from a place of love, operating from gratitude.

The only way a woman could ever trust you to lead is if you stand on your word and do everything you say you want to do.

Welcome back to another episode of Self Care and Chill with Maui. I miss you guys though. I really did.

I thought what better way for me to start today's episode off than to start it off with a poem. I feel like I haven't done it in a while.

And I know you guys love the poems in the beginning. So a little recap, a couple different things that's going on with me.

I miss being able to be able to consistently drop the podcast episodes. But thank you so much for still rocking with me, understanding that I'm pregnant and carrying the child right now.

So me being consistent isn't the easiest thing in the world. But y'all know I'm always going to make time for y'all.

Y'all know I love giving y'all advice. I know I love talking to y'all. So I'm always going to try to make time to be as consistent as possible.

The dog you already know about the dog child. The dog is getting my nerves at this point. I think I got six days left until my due date.

But today my doula actually feels like I'm an active labor. So she feels like as I'm recording this podcast right now. She's coming over later.

She feels like I'm going to have the baby tonight. And I'm actually an active labor. And I don't feel that way because I have this idea of me meeting to be an excruciating pain of something like that. But we go and see.

So just know y'all was the first people to hear it first. Just in case this baby come tonight.

Y'all knew before anybody else. So don't try to ask us. Go get on Instagram talking about yes. Yeah. We're going to keep it on a low and we're going to keep it in between between us.
