Well, that was Brad Marshan not so long ago when I imagine he was hoping that he would be able to come to terms with the Boston Bruins.

That didn't happen.

And this morning, he is, will be a member of the Florida Panthers for the next six years to the tune of $32 million.

And so I wonder, is there any regret you think this morning on the part of Don

Sweeney that he was unable to get that deal done with Brad Marchand last season?

Yeah, I definitely would think so because Marshan proved that he's still a good player.

He was proven that he's still a good player.

He was proven that he's still a solid player here.

And now if you're Sweeney and you look at how you're building this team moving forward,

there's a piece that you could have had in a guy like Masha and not only was,

dependent on how you felt a leader in that dressing room, that locker locker room i think you wanted to be here yeah till he got down to florida and uh won himself a cup

and found out that it's not so bad down there i mean the weather's better right traffic uh maybe

not so bad well he wanted to be here more bang for your buck yeah definitely more bang for. Well, he wanted to be here.

More bang for your buck.

But he wanted to be here, but they didn't want to give him the money that he felt like he deserved.

I have some serious consternation going on about empowering Don Sweeney.

Because the guy has not read the market well.

He has not made good decisions.

And just look at where they were in the end of the regular season, whatever it was, 18 months

ago to where they are now.
