Welcome to this, the Not the Top 20 podcast, really milking this introduction after George rudely interrupted me last Monday when we spoke to you.

This is a post-Easter weekend podcast. Of course, it had to wait until Tuesday for us

to record with games on Friday and on Monday. In fact, this is not ideal even so, because we've

got two games in League One tonight, so you'll have to forgive that we are not necessarily

up to speed. Those games are important, of course, but certainly Championship and League 2-wise, we are necessarily up to speed. Those games are important, of course, but

the state of play, essentially, isn't that right, George? We are at the stage of the season where

for some teams, it's kind of finished already. I think it's fair to assume that a lot of you listening probably had your eyes slightly off the ball this weekend.

So maybe we're just here.

Just to feel you in a little bit as to what's happened, what the state of players now in the leagues and what we

were impressed and not so impressed by.

Genuinely, reading between the lines, that makes me think you just spent the whole

weekend getting really pissed?

Incorrect.

I had a very important slot on Sky Sports News this morning, and I think if I was hung over,

my legs would shake even more than they do.

So, yeah, it was a lovely weekend.
