Summary
Moving into an older home comes with certain expectations—creaks, settling noises, the occasional odd moment that’s easy to dismiss. For a while, that’s all it seemed like.
Nothing stood out as unusual at first. Any small sounds or misplaced items were quickly explained away as part of getting used to a new space. It wasn’t until a casual conversation with a neighbor that something shifted.
