If you have your Bible with you, I want to read the word of the Lord today from Joshua chapter four and verse three and commend them saying take for

yourselves twelve stones from here out of the midst of Jordan from the place where the

priest's food stood firm and then I'm going to go to six, that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come saying,

what do these stones mean to you? And then in verse seven, the later part of it, it says, these stones shall be a memorial to the children of Israel forever and then I'm

going to go all the way to the end and that's verse 22 then it you shall tell your

children you shall let your children know Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry

land for the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you

until you had crossed over as the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over

as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea which he dried up before us until we had crossed over

that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the Lord that is mighty that you may

fear the Lord your God forever I

want you to notice just this three simple thoughts from that Israel crosses into the

promised land and when they come into the promised land God commands Joshua to let

the priests and mighty man let the mighty man go to the bottom or the

middle of Jordan, collect 12 stones, and set him up as memorials where the priests were standing.

Now this was not crossing through the blue bridge or the white bridge getting on the boat or

a ferry. God supernaturally stopped the waters of Jordan when Jordan overflowed,

meaning when the banks of the river rose up. So this was a supernatural miracle for them to cross over.

And then they set up these 12 stones as memorials. And the Lord says in here, three things I want to highlight.
