A couple of names. And I want you guys to pump the brakes, okay? So it was Brendan Thompson at wide receiver at Mississippi, Mississippi

1:45.2

States that had the best time, okay? This is important to note, 4.26. Does that mean that

1:53.1

Brendan Thompson is going to be the next Jerry Rice? Absolutely not. Just because you have a fast

1:59.6

speed does not mean you're the best,

2:01.6

okay? This is very, very important. I remember years ago, it was John Ross. He played on

2:05.6

the Bengals and he was a wide receiver, ran a really fast time, really didn't do anything crazy.

2:10.4

Xavier Worthy wasn't really phenomenal, right? He had ran the best time. Hasn't been amazing.

2:16.1

It's sometimes it's just about talent. Sometimes a talent just doesn't necessarily run a straight line at the fastest speed. This is very, very important. So let's talk about one of the prospects you may want to consider. I guess state to the end. I'm going to give you guys my favorite at the combine here. But Carnell Tate, Ohio State, 6-292, ran a 4.5--3 is an X-type receiver, really good at high pointing the ball, natural hands, amazing red zone target. They're comparing them to kind of like a Romo Duesday, Trey Harris, that type of caliber player, and he's one of the top prospects at wide receiver. He ran a 4.53. Brendan Thomas ran a 4.26. Does that mean again, Brendan Thomas is going to be better? We don't know. And a big factor here is that when you're considering it, when you're looking at top prospect versus speed, at the end of the day, it's where they land. I want to give you guys this information. Some guys get so excited, oh, he ran so fast, he jumped so high, but does that translate to fantasy

3:08.5

points? Will he be in a committee? What team is he on? Where is he going to end up? How much volume is he going to get? All of these are factors. We don't know that to the actual NFL draft after free agency. After those depth charts fizzle out, and we figure it out, then we kind of get a better idea, okay? Well, by the way, I forgot. We're going to get to that David Montgomery.

3:25.8

I'm going to take a break here and get to that real quick. fizzle out and we figure it out, then we kind of get a better idea, okay? Oh, by the way, I forgot.

3:24.8

We're going to get to that David Montgomery.

3:26.0

I'm going to take a break here and get to that real quick.

3:28.5
