first U.S. My App Cafe unit at an Ohio hospital in February. It serves 250 different types of hot

beverages. And even at the brisk pace of 200 cups of coffee,

teas, and mocas sold each day, every customer got exactly what they ordered without one word

exchanged. That's because Myap Cafe is run by a robot. People are delighted with the unit,

one hospital official said. they're filming it and laughing

about being served by an automated arm. And let's face it, laughter in hospitals has been in short

supply over the past couple of years. The machine is made in Germany and distributed in the U.S. by

robojo, which is based in Ohio. Drinks are ordered on an app and prepared by a robotic arm, according to the company's website.
