Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the Masters.

We devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking up with new morning mercies, and I'm just going to take it from here.

Also, I'm a little tired, so apologies, my energy's kind of low.

But I kind of pre-read some of this,

and I know that God's energy is not low.

His energy is at an all-time high, and I'm expectant that he's going to perk us up this morning.

Okay, the devotional says this, the temporary pleasures of this present world are meant to point you to the lasting pleasures of knowing God.

This story in John Chapter 6 didn't end the way the crowd thought that it would.

When they found him on the other side of the sea, the way the crowd thought that it would.

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him,

Rabbi, when did you come here?

Jesus answered them,

Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate

your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures

to eternal life, which the son of man will give to you.

For on him God the Father has set his seal.

Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes

in me shall never thirst. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness

and they died.

This is the bread that comes down from heaven

so that one may eat of it and not die.
