Welcome in and welcome back to another episode of Small Ball with Kenny Beecham.

Today, we got to talk about two giants going against each other.

Almost a perfect NBA game, the Cleveland Cavaliers versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Could that be an NBA finals preview?

I guess we got to talk about that.

I also want to talk about three teams that started off slow to start the season,

but as of recently, have been doing some pretty good things.

I mentioned to y'all that I'm trying my very best to not look at everything with this

big, big magnifying glass and think about the overarching pitcher, but take things more

at face value in the NBA. So these teams are not contenders, but we got to show some love to teams that are turning it around. And it made me want to fight even more towards the stuff. Go watch that episode if you missed it. But I was pretty candid and pretty open about some personal struggles. And I'm doing good. That's all I got to say. I stepped on a scale this morning. I was surprised at that number. My wife always tells me that if you're going to weigh yourself, you got to do it right when you wake up. And sometimes I woke up and I ain't like that number that was there. But today specifically, I must have been eating good this week. Anyway, let's get to the game of the year.

And you know what? I was going into OKC versus the Boston Celtics as the game of the year.

And that one actually was pretty great as well. But the Kaz versus OKC was even more perfect.

Last episode, we did our contenders tierless. I had the Boston Celtics

number one, OKC number two, and Cleveland number three. So I got to see my number two and my number

three team go head to head and it was an absolute banger. Final score was 129 to 122. And I got to give

credit where it's due. I have absolutely hated the ESPN coverage of the NBA, specifically.

We talk about pregame, post game, halftime, overall presentation of the NBA.

This time around it was a banger.

I felt like I was watching a playoff game.

They did this sizzle about the Cleveland Cavaliers where they're sitting down with the players, Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Jared Allen, Jared Allen back in front of a microphone. It was really, really dope. So again, I got to tip my cap and give credit where it's due. I thought they did a good job there. And I was talking to the homies trying to figure out why this was different than like their normal coverage of like the Christmas Day games, which was absolutely dreadful. And one of the
