We got a record household debt of 17 trillion.

We got black Democrats demanding another 14 trillion.

In reparations, Lord knows how that would be handed out, but boy, wouldn't it be fun?

And then you've got the debt ceiling, which is effectively the same problem.

See, if banks gave people all the money they requested, many people would take on more

loans than they could possibly ever pay back, because they don't make good decisions.

Same kind of people that keep having sex and having babies and wondering how it happened,

because they refuse to wear protection, or they refuse abstinence.

Same kind of people who keep driving drunk, and wondering why the consequences are so

dire.

The same kind of people who keep entering into the same kinds of marriages with the same

kinds of people, and they don't end up with, well, same kind of people who keep going

to the casino and losing all their money.

There are certain people who make terrible decisions, and unless someone stops enabling

them to do so, they will continue to do so.

I'm a person that believes in free will, but I'm not a person who believes that it's

free will to take money from this person to give it to that person just because they've

got political power.

So here we are at the debt ceiling.

We play this game every couple of years.
