These so-called riots sum up modern Britain — and London in particular.
Years of understanding too much and condemning too little have brought us to this: flash looting in broad daylight. Too many homes without structure. An education system with no discipline. Children being treated like 'young adults' instead of being taught right from wrong.
And let's be honest — there are clear patterns in what we're seeing in places like Clapham. Ignoring that helps no one. But if we're going to confront it, then we need a serious conversation about causes — about culture, responsibility, and consequences — not slogans and not excuses.
Forget breakfast clubs, Keir Starmer — what we need are parenting standards, responsibility, and discipline. And not just for the kids, but for the parents as well. Because somewhere along the line, we've lost respect — for each other, and for any form of authority.
