Back in action, it is another edition of the Audible, Cecil Lammy, Sigmund Bloom, and breaking NFL news as of this recording on Thursday morning, that Dallas has traded for Joe Milton.

Now, we knew, we knew Bloom that there was interest in Milton.

They'd been talking about it for a while now, and I think it's fine for the Patriots to do this.

Drake May's their guy, but Milton's a guy that's got a lot of interest, a lot of tools physically,

The Cowboys now have the strong, rocket arm, Joe Milton, as a backup to Dak Prescott.

Yeah, what's really odd here is that you would have expected that Milton, because there's

been rumors about this all offseason that Milton was going to get traded, that Milton in a not

so stellar class of developmental quarterbacks, that Milton, after what he

showed at the end of the season, stood out as an alternative. And it would have made sense for any

number of teams, the same teams were talking about, well, they trade back in the first to get

Schroeder, Sanders, or they, Jackson, Dart, et cetera, that one of those teams would trade for Joe Milton.

But instead it's the Cowboys.

But then again, see, one of the things that doing this for 20 years paying such close attention

to all of these teams is that there are some teams that instead of an assumption of rational

personnel management or rational resource allocation, that instead of an assumption of rational personnel management or

rational resource allocation, we should have an assumption of irrational personnel moves.

And that's the Dallas Cowboys, right?
