All right. Welcome to episode eight of the score fantasy football live.

I'm your host Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at The Score.

The goal of these episodes is to get you ready for that week's game.

So today we're going to do the usual stuff.

We're going to talk about the biggest injuries.

We're going to discuss some start sit options.

And then we're going to answer your questions at the end like we always do

and i know normally i do a little recap of the thursday nighter briefly off the top but i'm going to

be honest with you here i was only half watching that game last night i had the debate on the big screen

and i was kind of flipping back and forth.

And I don't want to offend Eagles fans. I don't want to offend Giants fans. But if it was like

Chief Seahawks, I probably would have chosen the game over the debate. Because I've talked

about it before, but there's not many times during the fantasy season where as an analyst, I can pull away and do something else and not totally focus on football.

So if the Monday nighter, if the Thursday night are those one-off games, if they're not a great matchup, because normally Sunday night is always a pretty good matchup.

So if the Monday night or the Thursday night or if they aren't good matchups, then I will choose to do something else that night. So sorry to Eagles and Giants fans, but that didn't look like a great game and it didn't look like I missed that much. And then what I'll do is I'll go and watch the condensed version of that game the next day. So I'm going to do that later this afternoon because I don't want to come on here like some other analysts do. And I'm not going to name any names, but I don't want to come on here and just give you some random takes, just kind of make it up as I go. I want you to know that I am putting in the research. I'm doing the homework. I'm putting the time in. and I want to give you a real breakdown of these games. So we don't need to get into any more of that. We don't need to talk about that game last night. What I do want to talk about here is some of the big injuries that we got to go over. And we got one right off the top here. Joe Mixin. We know last week he left the game with this foot injury.

Then he returned though.

So it seemed kind of optimistic.

When I talked about it on Monday's show, I thought he was probably going to play after

missing some practice this week.

But as the week went along, it became pretty evident that maybe this is a little more serious.
