Bible today that you don't usually hear a lot about, the book of Leviticus. No, seriously,

stay right here. Leviticus is a crucial book in understanding both the standard and the sacrifice necessary to make us

Leviticus seems like a strange book, to be sure. First off, there is the name itself.

Leviticus, that just sounds daunting to me.

It's not a cool name like Exodus or Romans. Leviticus sounds like a disease or maybe a pair of jeans or

something. But second, it's filled with all kinds of rules and regulations about diet, dress,

archaic, religious rituals. Some of the rules just seem weird at best. They seem

random. Eating locust is good, but shrimp is bad. God loves sod burns, Leviticus 1927, apparently,
