It was my friend Elvis Durand's birthday party on Friday.

60th birthday.

We all went out to Staten Island.

It was magnificent. I think I've still got a little bit of a hangover.

Gosh, we drank, we danced, we told stories, we laughed. It's what life is all about. Happy birthday.

Dear Elvis, it's because of Elvis that this podcast exists. That's the truth.

Elvis Duran is the one that got me this podcast, and it's because he invited me on his show.

I think over a decade ago now, a decade ago we became friendly. I had a TV show. Elvis came on my TV show. We hit it off and then

he asked me to go on his radio show and I was so dumb. I was like, oh, I'm a bit busy. No, I'm not sure.

And then my friend was Rob, you do know it's the number one radio show in America. I was like, oh,

okay, I should probably do this. I wanted to be

friends with Elvis, but I didn't really want to be a radio personality. I did TV, I did print.

I went on his show, I loved it. I'm really good at this too. You know I love to talk, Nautis.

So I love to talk. And I don't really have a face for TV. I'm not an ugly person but I'm not a gorgeous gorgeous glamour puss I don't look like those other people you see on TV and so radio and podcasting is something that really all the ingredients in my cupboard if you poured them into a bowl and mixed them up and put them in the

oven, it would come out a big cake that spelt radio. That's what I can do. And so Elvis gave me a shot

for over a decade now. I've been doing his show. And for over, I think, two or three years now,

we've been doing this show. so thank you, thank you,
