Every Christian life has four stages or seasons, a season of preparing, a season of sewing,

and a season of waiting, and finally a season of reaping.

sleeves and get to work, operating in the gifts God has given us and using them for his glory.

There's a reason for every season.

Let's start in Matthew chapter 4 and look with me at verses 12 and 17.

When Jesus heard that John the Baptist had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee, verse 17.

From that time on, Jesus began to preach, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. From that time on, he began to preach. The kingdom of heaven is near. John chapter 2,

verse 1. On the third day, a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and all of his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.

When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, they have no more wine.

Dear woman, why do you involve me? Jesus replied, my time has not yet come. My time has not yet come. John chapter 7,

verse 1. After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea, because the Jews

there were waiting to take his life.

But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus brothers said to him,
