Summary

Tonight’s guest, Super Dave, had his first encounter when he was in the 5th grade, in the Saginaw Eddy Bottoms, in Arkansas. The day he had it, he had walked back to his favorite fishing hole. As he got close to the fishing hole, he heard some whoops, followed by footsteps that were following him. That unnerved him, but what happened to him when he reached his fishing hole, the intensity of his situation went through the roof. When he was approaching the fishing hole, he saw a Sasquatch standing knee-deep in the water. What happened to him that day traumatized Dave so much, he was terrified of the dark for years afterwards. 0:10.3	I got that nickname back in high school and a big braw that I was a part of, aka Sasquatch.
0:17.8	I got my dub, Sasquatch in the MC world. But I live here in Malvin, Arkansas,
0:27.4	not too far from where I had my first experience. My first encounter, I guess I was probably
0:36.4	about 12 years old. I was somewhere around. I know I was probably about 12 years old.
0:38.1	I was somewhere around, I know I was in fifth grade.
0:40.7	I haven't done the counting up and see how old it was.
0:44.5	I'm thinking I was around 12, somewhere around there.
0:47.5	And it was in the Saginaw, Eddie Bottoms.
0:50.7	And there was a lot of things that happened to lead up to my first encounter.
1:00.7	You know, I heard a lot of stuff, seen a lot of stuff, experienced a lot of stuff that I didn't know back then, but I do know now.
1:12.8	So there was a lot of whoops, uh, uh, samurai chatter, uh, Indian talk, uh, tree structures, tree breaks, uh, tracks, all these things,
1:27.4	uh, it kind of led up to my encounter. tracks, all these things.
1:35.0	It kind of led up to my encounter about a year prior when I was seeing these things.
1:38.7	And I remember telling my dad, I said, Dad, I said, there's something down there in the woods and ain't right.
1:44.8	Now, this area where I had my first encounter was one of my favorite places.
1:54.4	There was a spring-frette crick that went right down off in the Wachita River every evening at a certain time.
2:00.4	They let the floodgates out, and it comes on down the river, and the river swells where it backs up in this slew there
2:03.5	where the spring Fred Crick went into.
2:06.0	And that's where when that water come up, that's where I used to fish at when I was a kid.
