ADVERTS DISCLAIMER:
This podcast has ads at the start of every episode. However never in the middle of a story or at the end.
Please be assured all ad blocks have been applied to ensure no over 18 or inappropriate ads are played.
However, there may be the odd occasion where an advert slips through the net because the company submitting them submits them under a category that is not correct. This happens very rarely and I do my upmost to stop this happening.
If this happens, please email me at shortstoriesforkids@gmail.com and let me know the following information: What the ad was for? What state you live in? And what episode you heard it on and I will immediately contact Spreaker to block the ad.
I take this very seriously and I really appreciate your support and co-operation.
As creators, we want your childβs experience to be a pleasurable one. Running adverts is necessary to allow us to operate, but please do consider the premium subscription service as an alternative β itβs ad free.

| 0:00.0 | Hey everyone and welcome back to Short Stories for Kids, the Magical |
| 0:06.8 | Podcast of Story Adventures. And now it's time for today's story request. |
| 0:17.0 | Hi Lucy, Austin and Ben would like a story where they go through a portal and find a goat who is injured and |
| 0:26.2 | needs their help. Austin and Ben loved their farm. |
| 0:44.0 | Even though they weren't big enough to drive a tractor, |
| 0:47.0 | there was still plenty of other jobs to help out with every day. |
| 0:51.0 | But what they really loved about their farm was all the open space to play in. |
| 0:57.0 | There were fields to run across, woods to explore, and even a stream to splash about in when the weather was warm enough. |
| 1:06.0 | Both Austin and Ben thought they knew every inch of the farm. |
| 1:10.0 | They'd been in, around, up and under most things. |
| 1:14.0 | But one place they'd never explored was a thick brier patch of thorns on the edge of the property. |
| 1:20.0 | The sharp brambles were just too threatening for either of them to want to get close to, |
| 1:26.4 | except for today. As they passed it, Austin spied flatened down grass leading up to a gap in the twisted briar. |
| 1:35.0 | The gap extended deep into the bushes, and when Austin bent down to look, |
| 1:40.0 | he could see that it formed a tunnel just big enough to crawl down. |
| 1:45.0 | What is it? asked Ben, crowding him out of the way for a peak. |
| 1:50.0 | It's a tunnel into the briar patch. It goes a long way, explained Austin. The patch was enormous and at its |
| 1:58.0 | center. It was tall too, growing thickly around a cluster of trees. |
| 2:03.0 | Did an animal make it? |
| 2:05.0 | Like, maybe a fox? |
| 2:07.0 | Asked Ben. |
| 2:08.0 | Hmm, I don't know. |
