One thing I noticed almost immediately after I started working at BirdNote is that people love to

bring me their bird questions. Things like, is it true that if you feed birds, they'll

become dependent on you? Or, do birds only sing when they are happy? Even, how smart can

birds really be with brains that small? And I quickly learned that when it comes to facts about

birds, there's probably a bird note for that. We've brought you more than 2,400 episodes over 20 years covering tons of topics on birds.

And what I find really exciting is that there are still so many stories to share about how

birds live and behave, how they survive in an ever-changing world, and how people are stepping up to help.
