The title of this morning's message,

There is no partiality with God,

can be found in our text this morning,

which is in Romans chapter 2, starting with verse 11.

For there is no partiality with God. For all who have sinned without the law

will also perish without the law.

And all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

For when Gentiles who do not have the law do instinctively the things of the law. These, not having the law, are law to themselves

and that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing

witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them.

On the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

Gracious Heavenly Father, I ask for your help now in unfolding these words of the inspired

Apostle Paul.

These are weighty matters. They deal with not just us, they deal with the whole world.

The whole world of nations and kingdoms, those who heard the gospel and those who haven't heard the gospel, the present,

the future, eternity, these are weighty, weighty matters.

And so I ask you to come, Holy Spirit, and Father, to pour out your Spirit

upon me to give me an anointing for the delivery of this word in a right demeanor and truthfulness and faithfulness.

And upon your people, Lord, so that they would have a attentive mind and a docile heart, a humble

and receptive spirit, so that the transaction here is one of supernatural rather than natural things.

You said the natural man does not receive the things of the spirit,
