What an honor it is to be with you all here this morning.

My name is Walker Theus, and as a few weeks ago, I just finished my sophomore year at Highlands College.

Thank you.

But fun fact about me is I actually grew up going to Church of the Highlands.

I actually remember Easter 2014, our family was looking for a church,

and some family friends invited us to an Easter service.

And we were a little hesitant.

I was in fourth grade, okay? And we were nervous.

We were excited all the same time. But I remember literally sitting right here in the back row

here at Grant Smil. And I was just in fourth grade. I was supposed to be in Highlands kids,

but my parents let me go to big church for the day. And remember just being in fourth grade and honestly, just being

in awe. I'd never heard someone talk about a relationship with God and actually make it feel like

it's actually a relationship. And this is the church that I got saved in. This is the church that I got

disciples in. This is the church that I got called to Highlands College. If you're grateful for

our church this morning, why don't you give it up? Amazing. Before getting into today's message, I do want to honor just a few

people. Like I said, I grew up planted in the house of the Lord and an amazing church like

Church of the Highlands. And none of that would be possible without my incredible family that's here

on the second row. I honor you this morning. But I also want to take a moment to look into the camera

and honor our founding pastor, Pastor Chris and Miss Tammy. You know, some kids, you ask him,
