A major news announcement came last week and over the weekend that is not getting the

attention it deserves.

All state and state farm have announced that they will no longer sell property and casualty

insurance to new customers in California.

In other words, we're not willing to do business in this state going forward by growing

our business because we can't make money.

A number of reports on the claims that are being filed.

But if you think about it, if the state won't enforce the law, and you have to ensure

that which kind of falls through the gaps, but now that's becoming the norm, it was reported

that they had a mountain of claims from practically every retail shop in the state.

It's no longer shoplifting, it's looting.

The homeowners are reporting that they have drug addicts on their doorstep and they can't

get anyone to move them.

If the state won't protect private property, how are you going to ensure it against loss,

including theft?

This is effectively them pulling out of the state.

The next phase will be how do we deal with premiums that have already been paid if we

don't want to do business anymore?

The insurance model is to take your money on the front end and hopefully pay you less

than that on the back end.
