Today's tip is to realize that there's no such thing as a typical week.

So stop waiting for one to implement your planning routines, pursue your goals, or work on your habits.

Live the way you aspire to live this week, or any week, whether it's typical or not. I have long been fascinated

by when people feel the normal rules don't apply. We all assume different things. For instance, I remember

showing up for a rehearsal for something during finals week in college. Someone else was

noticeably absent and hadn't mentioned she would be gone, meaning

the rehearsal was a bit less productive than it might have been.

When asked about it later, she said, oh, but it was finals week.

Not that she had a test scheduled for the same time

as the rehearsal, just that the week was atypical.

So I guess she assumed everything was optional.
