Hey, good morning. I'm Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now.

Becoming a mental health professional can take years,

but that's because of the training and education required to become one. The licensing process is supposed to be quick, though, but lately it's been taking months instead of a few weeks.

Seattle Times reporter Hannah Fafaro is here to talk about how it affects future mental health

care workers and patients seeking care.

But first, let's get you caught up.

Axiosis reporting facial ID is coming to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ahead of a nationwide rollout.

The technology matches your face to your ID and boarding pass. The biometric gates are a partnership

between the security company Clear and the TSA. Under the plan, Clear Plus members will be able to

skip the TSA podium and go straight to screening.

Expect that to be in place by August 31st.

Officials hope it will keep things moving when record-breaking crowds are expected to come to the U.S.

and Seattle next year for the World Cup.
